Yamaha’s triple horns are handmade and meticulously crafted to perfection by experienced artisans. They offer the rich full sound of a full double horn, coupled with the sure attacks and control of a descant horn. The problems of response and intonation usually associated with triple horns have been completely eliminated. Yamaha’s patented ‘long rotor’ and ‘dual plane’ valves, along with an ingenious tubing configuration permit the same shape and balance as a conventional horn so they are comfortable to hold and play. The 892D is the same with an A+ stop valve.
